How to use your own study material (note)

The Note

You have just opened the next to last and most important lesson of the Mindpicnic intro course. The most Important?

Yes. Mindpicnic is made for people who want to learn more than just the courses created by others. This is why it is very easy to set up new courses yourself. Why not give it a try while reading this lesson?

Setting up your own content in three steps:

1) Create a course

Switch to the Create Page and click on "Create course". Type in the title and a short description of the topic you want to learn.

2) Add the lessons

Let's assume that you would like to add a new book to your course and a cardbox created by someone else.

First you set up your book. Switch to the Create Page , click on "Create book" and type in the title or the ISBN of the book. Select the right book from the search results and Mindpicnic takes care of everything else. Creating links works the same way, for cardboxes and notes you need to enter some additional content.

Now go to the cardbox you would like to add to your course. A dark green box on the right side of the page lets you add the flashcards to your course.

3) Click on "Publish & Learn"

Go back to your new course (it's on your Create Page Now there is only one click left to do: "Publish & Learn", done!

Continue with the next lesson by clicking "I have learned this" on the right and then switching to the Learn Page.
