Why don't you create a french group, get together some friends or people from collage, university, or school and learn french together. Recomend websites, make your own french club so people can come and join, and you can meet new people. Start your own website and advertise yourself on the internet or in the news paper. You and your french group can also go to france for the weekend or go on day trips to france, and get to know the french culture at first hand.
