    Did you find out how to learn by now? If not: Most of the time it's helpful to look at the boxes at the right side of the page.

        You could study the "Expand Your Vocabulary"-course at www.mindpicnic.com/course/expand-your-vocabulary/ (although it isn't very comprehensive yet) or any other course you see at www.mindpicnic.com/find/ .

    Just read them and cover the MAIN WORDS and re-read the meanings, then you will soon learn the Word and meaning in time!

    I just signed up and it is April 11th 2009 so I do not know if you are still a member but here is what I would do if I wanted to learn French and eventually teach to others this beautiful language:

    I would go online and find out how to count from 1 to 20 in french(knowing numbers always helps in any language!):un,deux,trois,quatre,cinq,six,sept,huit,neuf,
    dix,onze,douze,treize,quatorce,quinze,seize,dix-sept,dix-hu it,dix-neuf,vingt

    I would learn how to say the names of the main colors in french,days of the week,months of the year,the four seasons:bleu,vert,orange,rouge,rose,violet,gris,blanc,noir,m arron,jaune....blue,green,orange,red,pink,purple,grey,white, black,brown,yellow...lundy,monday,mardi,tuesday,mercredi,wed nesday,jeudi,thursday,vendredi,friday,samedi,saturday,dimanc he,sunday.....janvier,fevrier,mars,avril,mai,juin,juillet,ao ut,septembre,octobre,novembre,decembre...summer is ete,spring is pringtemps,winter is hiver,fall or autumn is automne(I think!lol)
    The family members,the verbs to be and to have...that is a beginning,right?lol...

    Once you know how to write them down then practice their pronunciation(buy or rent cd of french lesson)
