Great sales tips
Read
This is another in the line of sales books that is educating and entertaining to say the least. Another great book about sales is; A Stripper's Tail, see how this out of work mother goes from poverty to millionaire in 8 years. She invests in a Dcup size chest and never looks back. Fun and very entertaining read. See how she becomes a great sales person, selling herself in clubs for lap dances...
Real-world Successful Sales Tips
Read
A seasoned pro, a sales veteran, a very successful entrepreneuer, businessman and salesman, Gitomer shares his secrets of sales success to layout a blue print plan to take you where your sales are now, to record-breaking sales in the near future.
My top producer recommended this book to me, primarily because he knows what it takes to become number 1 and secondly because he agrees with all of Gitomer's sales principles.
This is real vintage Gitomer!

This is real vintage Gitomer!
Got to give it to him - he tells it like it is and throws in some laughs at the same time. The kick your own ass part is right on the money - and something I remind myself of (I tell the same thing to the sales people I work with!) Gitomer break it down in bit sized chunks that can be quickly understood and add value.
Great motivational book!
Next sales books on my (self educating) reading list are:
The Sales Adventure Guide
Spin Selling
And of course, The Sales Bible.
Excellent and diverse

There isn't a person out there that couldn't get value from this book. I offer training program called Life is a Series of Sales (learn more at my website) in which I reveal research supported data that proves everyone is in sales and therefore anyone could benefit by reading Gitomer and reading between the lines.
I gave this a 5 not because it is perfect, it isn't, but because it is excellent. No book can be all things to all people but this book is everything Jeff promised and regardless of what you expected there was valuable content in it for you.
At first I was a bit turned off (just oposite personality types) and then I ran across a gold nugget, then another, then a pearl. I recommend this book.
I will spend $500 or more dollars to attend a seminar where I will likely learn only one new fact that will affect me profoundly; such is the case with any seminar. If I could find such tips in a $15 book, that just makes sense.
Go out and get it now, and while your at it get everything with Gitomer on it, I did.
Must have for any sales professional
Read
If you are new to sales, buy The Sales Bible first. After you've gotten good at the basics then you're ready for this book. This is not a 'how to' book, per se. It is more for the people who may have the fundamentals necessary to sell but need to further hone those skills to become masterful. I have read and re-read this book so many times that it has become a part of me. I have given copies to some of my employees and seen dramatic results. If you read this book and don't see immediate results, then as Jeffrey likes to say: "you suck at sales."
